Jovita Y Bentancourt, born on February 15, 1941, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. Jovita is now reunited with her beloved parents, Andres and Isabel Yanez, and her dear siblings Miguel Yanez, Andres Yanez, Esperanza Alonso, Consuelo Gomez, and Rosa Martinez.

Jovita lived a beautiful life rooted in love, strength, and devotion. A dedicated and selfless mother, she always put her family first, guiding them with wisdom, patience, and an unwavering heart. She was known for her hard work, her resilience, and her ability to find joy in life's simple moments. Jovita loved to dance, to laugh, and to surround herself with the beauty of flowers; small joys that reflected her vibrant spirit.

She is survived by her children: Frank Bentancourt Jr, Richard Bentancourt (Nancy), Ida Bentancourt, Eva B Ramirez, Roger Bentancourt(Rosita), and Isabel B Hernandez (Frank). She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were the pride and joy of her life.

Jovita's strength, kindness, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Her family will forever cherish her memory and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
