Juan Zamarripa Amador was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at the blessed age of 85.  Juan was born June 20, 1939, in Nell, TX to Jesus V. and Elvira Z. Amador.  Juan met Margarita C. Gonzales in San Antonio in 1957 and married on October 9, 1959.  Together they raised their 5 children in their home at 520 S. San Dario, on the West Side of San Antonio, and working as an Aircraft Painter at Kelly AFB for nearly 30 yers.  Jaun and his wife moved to Atascosa, Texas and enjoyed their retired years together with their daughter Thelma's family, spending time with four generations of Amador for nearly 20 years on the same property.

He is reunited in heaven with his loving wife Margarita, his siblings and parents.  He is loved and will be deeply missed by his children Juan G. Amador (Irene Alvarado), Thelma A. Stone (John), Alberto G. Amador, Manuel G. Amador, Alejandro G. Amador; his 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Heaven has gained our most adored patriarch.  He will live forever in our thoughts, prayers and laughter.
