Juan Jose "Cheve" Balderas was called home to be with the Lord on August 10, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born on November 5, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas.

He reunited in Heaven to be with his parents, Dolores and Juanita Balderas; brother, Dolores Balderas Jr.; and son, Antonio Balderas. He survived by his beloved sister, Jesusita Carlos; Great-uncle, Candelario Balderas; and sister-in-law, Antonia Balderas. Also mourrning his passing are his children, Rosario Moreno with spouse David Moreno, Lucinda Balderas with spouse Ricky, Dolores Balderas, and Juan Jose Balderas, Jr. with spouse Sofia Balderas; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Juan Jose Balderas will be truly missed by all his loved ones.

Visitation & Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Castillo Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen, San Antonio Tx, 78228. A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel
