Obituary

With hearts full of gratitude for his life and faith, the family of Juan F. Corona announces his peaceful transition into eternal rest. Surrounded by love, he entered the presence of the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of service, devotion, and unwavering strength.

Juan is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Consuela Cenobia, his father, Pedro Corona, and his late wife, Cenobia S. Corona. We trust that they are joyfully reunited in God's eternal embrace.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Lourdes E. Corona, who walked beside him with devotion and grace. He leaves his cherished children in God's care: Cindy Corona, John Corona, and Shay S. Corona. Juan's blessings continued through his grandchildren—Jonathan, Nichole, Xavier, Jenna, Kelly, Jonelle, and John Wiley. His great-grandchildren —Skyler, Lilah, Jayse, Annabelle, Hudson, Archie, Lennon and  Cassandra Lee Corona.

He also leaves behind his sister, Sylvia Corona Sanchez, and her husband, Henry Gonzales. His extended family includes his niece and her husband, Denise and Joseph Silva, his nephew, Bobby Sanchez, and many others who held him close in their hearts. Each of them carries forward the light he shared.

Juan lived a life guided by purpose and service. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Radar Plot Operator/Crewman, standing watch in Germany during the defense of the Berlin Wall and serving honorably in the Korean War. His dedication was recognized with the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Army Expeditionary Medal. From December 12, 1954, through November 3, 1957, he served his country with courage, humility, and faith.

His commitment to others extended far beyond his military years. Juan was a devoted member of the Veterans of Foreign Affairs, served as President of the League for Exceptional Children, participated in Toastmasters, and worked in Real Estate Sales. His professional journey spanned 34 years in marketing and sales management with major bottling companies, including Pepsi-Cola, Canada Dry, RC Cola, and 7-Up.

Juan valued learning and earned a degree in Business Administration, using his knowledge to uplift his work and community. He found joy in reading, supporting charities, playing golf, and offering help wherever it was needed. His generosity was quiet but powerful—an expression of his faith lived out daily.

Those who knew him will remember his steady presence, his warm spirit, and the way he lifted others without seeking recognition. Juan's life was a testament to perseverance, compassion, and the belief that serving others is one of the highest callings.

As we commend him to God's eternal care, we hold close the promise that "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." His legacy continues in the family he loved, the people he served, and the many lives he touched with kindness.

May his soul rest in everlasting peace, and may God's comfort surround all who mourn his passing.
