Juan L. Duran passed away peacefully on June 24, 2023, surrounded by his family. Born October 6, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas. He attended John F. Kennedy High School and was drafted into the Army in the 11th grade. He served 2 years and got sent to Vietnam. Once back home he became a Truck Driver for 37 years before retiring.

Married November 23,1968 to beloved Juanita Compian Duran. Survived by children Suzanne Dominguez & Michael Dominguez grandchildren Clarissa Ann Dominguez, Michael Steven Dominguez Jr. and Gavin Steven Dominguez, Veronica Duran Contreras & Manny Contreras grandchildren Bethany Contreras and Shelby Contreras and John C. Duran & Ernest Perez Jr.; brothers Paul Duran, Lawrence Duran, Lucio Duran, Jose Duran(Becky), Jesse Duran: sisters Matilda D Villarreal, Lupe Villanueva and Terry Ortega(Michael).
