Obituary

Juan “Johnny” Francisco Garcia

Juan “Johnny” Francisco Garcia entered into the loving arms of the Lord on June 26, 2026, at the age of 52, surrounded by the love, warmth, and comfort of his family.

Johnny was born on October 12, 1973, to his parents, Lino Garcia and Romelia Garcia, who both preceded him in death. From an early age, Johnny developed a strong work ethic, a passion for helping others, and a dedication to learning and perfecting his craft qualities that remained with him throughout his life.

For more than 30 years, Johnny dedicated his career to the glass industry, where he earned the respect and admiration of coworkers, customers, and friends alike. Many considered him one of the finest glass technicians in San Antonio. His exceptional skill, attention to detail, and willingness to share his knowledge made him a true mentor. Those who worked alongside him often referred to him as a “unicorn”—a rare individual whose expertise had the ability to take on any challenge, from commercial buildings to residential projects and any year or model of automotive glass. Anything to do with glass, Johnny did it all.

Johnny’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. He treasured every laugh, every gathering, and every beautiful, fun, and silly memory created with those he loved. His kind heart, playful spirit, and genuine ability to make others feel welcomed left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Above all, Johnny’s faith in God was the foundation of his life. His unwavering faith guided him through life’s joys and challenges and was reflected in the kindness, generosity, and love he showed to others. With a contagious smile, a warm heart, and an infectious sense of humor, Johnny had a way of lighting up every room he entered. He was truly the life of the party, and his presence brought comfort, laughter, and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Johnny leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Jessica Garcia; his children, Julian Rene Garcia, Zoe Gamez; and Stephanie Ann Ryan, his son-in-law, Angel Luis Ryan; his beloved grandchildren, Lyla Daisy Ryan and Levi Angel Ryan; his brothers, Martin Garcia and Oscar Garcia; and his cherished nieces and nephews, Loraine Juarez, Oscar Garcia Jr., Michael Garcia, Sebastian Garcia, and Jasmine Garcia. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends, coworkers, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.

Johnny’s legacy is one of faith, love, dedication, and selflessness. His family finds comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. While his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his love, wisdom, laughter, and the countless lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

He will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and profoundly missed.
