John Gamez Jr. (49) of San Antonio, Tx, passed away peacefully with family members by his side February. 4, 2022. He is survived by son, Captain America, Brandon Gamez; She-Hulk Mother, Elvira Gamez; Supergirl Sister, Debbie Gamez; Ironman Brother, Ernest Gamez; Batgirl Niece, Adrianna Alex and Storm Niece, Andrea Alex.

Preceding him in death; father, Juan S. Gamez Sr.; grandparents, Bernardo & Cira S. Gamez, and Alberto & Francisca Gonzales.

Instead of John returning to Gotham city, he returned to San Antonio where disguised as a student attended Memorial HS. His sudden passing left family, friends, and all who knew this Superhero, in absolute turmoil. John touched everybody's lives with his funny outgoing personality, courageous attitude on life.

His son Brandon was his sole focus, both known as Batman & Robin the dynamic duo. Those that knew John knew his passion for collecting action figures and comics. He created "Cool Hot Collectibles", a FB group that flourished and gained him life-long friends who will continue to carry out his dream. John flew high and mighty to the very end, God decided that he needed John and retired his cape. He will forever be our Superhero!
