Juan Oscar Garcia, Jr., 66, passed away to be with our Lord, Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his residence in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by his daughter, sons, and son-in-law. Mr. Garcia was born June 1, 1957 to Juan Oscar Garcia Sr. and Ester Reyna Garcia in Weslaco, Texas. He graduated from Weslaco High School and The University Of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He is preceded in death by his father Juan O. Garcia Sr., grandfather David Garcia and grandmother Victoria Garcia. Mr. Garcia is survived by his mother Ester Reyna Garcia, daughter Angela Garcia Luquis (Samuel A. Luquis Jr.), 2 granddaughters Re'an Renee' and Reese Morgan, 3 sons Juan D. Garcia, Oscar A. Garcia, Samuel O. Garcia (Lexi-Ani), all from San Antonio, Texas, 3 brothers Jaime Garcia (Susan), Rolando Garcia (Diana), Roberto Garcia, 3 sisters Gloria De Leon (Juan Angel), Ofelia Serrano (Juan Jose Sr.), Diana Rico (Carlos), all from Weslaco, Texas. Also many nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is remembered for so much, but especially for being the "life of the party" where he always brought laughter to everyone. He had a very special loving bond with his mom and spoke to her daily for hours. He was a very proud father and an exceptionally proud granddad who attended their sporting and school events. He was there for all our special occasions. He is now reunited in Heaven with his father J.O. Garcia Sr. Pallbearers will be Re'an Renee', Juan D. Garcia, Oscar A. Garcia, Samuel O. Garcia, Samuel A. Luquis, Jr., Juan Jose Serrano Sr., Juan Jose Serrano Jr., and Freddy Lopez. We will forever cherish the memories of Juan's remarkable life and the impact he made on all those who knew him.
The family will receive guests at Castillo Funeral Home and at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
