SFC Juan Francisco Garcia Sr., born on March 6, 1951, entered into eternal rest on January 16, 2026, at the age of 74. He is joyfully reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Mary Lou. Juan's life and legacy will be lovingly remembered by his four children—Juan F. Garcia Jr., Jacob, Elizabeth, and Rose Mary—his sister, Ruth Vela, his four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends who treasured him. A proud veteran, Juan honorably served 18½ years in the United States Army, earning multiple commendations, serving in the Gulf War, and forming lifelong friendships wherever he was stationed. Following his military career, he continued his commitment to service through a long tenure with the United States Postal Service. Known for his quick wit and constant humor, Juan was a perpetual jokester who never missed an opportunity to fill a room with laughter. He was also a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs, rarely missing a game. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou, his brothers, Guadalupe Espinoza and Elias Espinoza, and his mother, Trinidad Garcia. His dedication and unwavering love for his family will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone who knew and loved him.
