Obituary

Juan "John" Pascual Ritz passed away peacefully on June 17, 2022, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family after a long battle with cancer. He was 69 years old. He was born in Lubbock, Texas to Pascual and Genevie Ritz.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Juanita L. Ritz; his children Kristopher Ritz (Miracle), Elizabeth Ritz Serna (Robert Jr.), John Ritz (Nicole), Tony Mainez Jr. (Teresa), Katherine Mainez Ybarbo; siblings Robert Ritz, Norma Diaz, Linda Garcia, Raymond Barrera; grandchildren Alyssa Jayne Mainez, Ashley Nicole Mainez, Antonio Mainez III, Isabelle N. Mainez, Maranda Kate Ybarbo, Liam Ryan Ritz, Daniel Ybarra, David Ybarra (Daisy), Robert Serna (Lindsay), Tommy Rey Serna, Rozalyn Ritz, Madeleine Ritz, Samuel Morales, Xavier Morales; great-grandchildren Kaycee Nicole Morales, Analie Clare French, E. Michael Morales; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
John is also preceded in death by his father, Pascual Ritz, mother, Genevie E. Ritz and daughter, Cynthia Ann Ritz.
John worked tirelessly to provide. He was loved and will be missed.
