Juan O. Rivera, Sr., 81, entered into rest in his home surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, September 25, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Julian Rivera and Maria Ozuna Rivera, twin brother Juan Manuel Rivera, and brother Santos Rivera. Surviving siblings Juanita, Angelica, Elida, Julia, Demetria and Gabriel.

He is survived by his dear bride of 62 years, Yolanda Garza Rivera, daughters Roxanne R. Zamora (Rick), Veronica R. Sanchez (Henry), Nancy G. Martinez (Damian), Jennifer Perez, and son Juan R. Rivera, Jr. Grandchildren: Yvonne R. Carter (Eric), John Eric Sanchez (Gina), Henry Sanchez, Jr. (Jordan), Erica A. Rivera, Damian Martinez III and Juan R. Rivera III. Step-Grandchildren: Cindy Bergh and Patsy Anzaldua. Great-Grandchildren: Nicholas Adrian Carter, Olivia Rae Sanchez, and Mason Robinson.

Juan was a sweet soul who offered a smile, laugh, and helping hand to every person who crossed his path. He enjoyed all sports and watching Western movies. Juan was beloved by all and a "Popo" to many. Juan left behind a lifetime of memories to be treasured and will be dearly missed.
