Juan Rodriguez Sr, born to Pablo & Eloisa, went to be with his Lord, at the age of 67. He is survived by his beloved wife, children, & grandchildren.
He met his best friend Pam in elementary and later in time dated for a while before deciding to tie the knot, both at the age of 16.
They had been married for 51 years!
A year later at the age of 17 he made another life-changing decision to join the US Army. He served courageously & dutifully, over 20 blessed years! During his years of military duty, he traveled to different parts of the world, and his family benefited through the didactics, historical accounts, and stories he learned along the way!
He retired while stationed in Kentucky and made another big decision to return to his hometown of San Antonio to be with his mother, and shortly after, brought his family back home!
His decision to return to school garnered a degree and the opportunity to work for some years in Respiratory Therapy.
From there he transitioned to the VA to give back and make a difference with Veterans! He retired from his employment at the VA and spent the remainder of his life enjoying the fruits of his labor with his family, in retirement!
Juan was notably known for his congenial sense of humor and his lavish generosity. He was a son, a friend, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a soldier, a coach, a storyteller, a tender-of-hurts and-pains, an artist, a musician, a family historian, a faithful provider, a prayer warrior, and a believer of Christ Jesus, his Lord!
His Family is Extremely Thankful to God for their BLESSED Life together with him! He will be TREMENDOUSLY missed!
"WE LOVE YOU SOO PAPITO!"
