Obituary

Juana Hernandez went to be with our Lord on March 28, 2022, at the age of 70.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bernardino Hernandez; parents, Cruz and Maria Luisa Lopez; a granddaughter, January May Hernandez; and a brother, Jose Cruz Lopez.

She is survived by her children, Claudia Barrios (Nathan), Bernardino Hernandez Jr., Juan Luis Hernandez (Gloria) and Michael Anthony Garza Jr.; three grandchildren; and siblings, Cruz Castillo Mauricio, Manuel Lopez, Guadalupe Lopez, Fidencio Rosario Lopez, Maria Luisa Lopez, Cecilia Guadalupe Lopez, Manuela Isabel Lopez, Cruz Manuel Lopez, and Gloria Maria Lopez; in addition to extended family and friends.

Juana was born on May 2, 1951, in Mexico. She accomplished so many incredible things in life, but she was especially proud of her family. Her late husband "Nino" and their four children were her greatest adventure and accomplishment. Juana enjoyed completing word searches in her free time. Tele novelas always were her choice when watching television.  Family and friends will forever miss her cooking that she loved to do so much. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and found peace gardening at home.

She inspired people around her to be better individuals. Her capacity for generosity knew no bounds. She was also someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Juana loved and devoted her time to family. Those times will exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved her caring ways, and she will be deeply missed.

There are no words that can express the feelings in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
