Juanita Uribe Chavez, 91, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2024, in the presence of her family. She was born June 24, 1933, in Poteet, Tx, to Gregorio Uribe and Manuela Uribe. On July 1, 1950, she married Juan Rodriguez Chavez. Whether you called her Cana, San Juana, Janie, Mom, Grandma, Great-grandma, great great-grandma, Señora, Ama, or J, she made you feel so loved.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Juan; her brother, Roy (Lucy) Uribe; two sisters Alice Borrego and Elsa (Al) Lewis; her children Cruz, Johnny, Jimmy, Margie, Ernest, Debra, Diana, Elizabeth, Edward, Patrick, Patricia, Hope, Frank, Della, Moses, and Michael; her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
