Juanita Flores went peacefully to be with the Lord on November 1, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was 91 years old. She was born in Laredo, Tx on May 27, 1929.Juanita lived and raised three children in San Antonio, Tx, where she worked for Northside Independent School District for 15 years. After her retirement she was a provider for seniors. Some of her favorite hobbies she loved were crocheting, gardening, and sewing. Juanita is preceded in death by her birth parents, Roberto and Maria S. Flores, and her childhood parents, Jose and Maria de Jesus S. Flores, as well as her brothers, Nicacio Flores, Leonides Flores, Ladislado Flores, and Bartolo Flores. Juanita is loved and will be dearly missed by her son, Raul R. Sanchez; daughters, Mary Alice Rangel and San Juanita S. Espinoza (James); sisters Maria del Carmen F. Monzon (deceased; Jose Guadalupe), Maria Aurora F. Coronado (Raul) and sister-in-law Juanita O. Flores-Mendoza; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 3pm until 7:30pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6pm. Family and friends will depart the funeral home at 8:15am in procession on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 for a 9am Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
