Juanita G. Silva was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the blessed age of 85. Juanita was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 12, 1937 to the late Audelino and Jacinta Perez. Juanita was a devoted wife, daughter, and sister. She loved her family and enjoyed shopping at the flea market and she loved to cook and clean. Juanita also enjoyed going to the Estrella Senior Center to spend time with her friends and enjoy arts and crafts, ceramics, and crochet.

Juanita is reunited in Heaven with her parents, spouse Juan Silva; and siblings Jose Perez and Josefa Kramer. Juanita will be missed dearly by her surviving siblings Dolores Morales, Maria de la Luz Perez, Jesus Perez, Isabel Contreras, Rosalinda Lozano, Esther Perez, Estella Perez, and Jaime Perez.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2022 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to begin at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart at 9:30am from Castillo Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2022 for a 10:00am Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial to follow at San Jose Burial Park.
