Juanita Zamora Gonzales entered into eternal rest on May 26, 2026 after being blessed with 99 years of life. She was born on March 19, 1927 to the late Pedro and Felicita Zamora.

Juanita was hardworking woman with strong values. In her younger years, she helped pick cotton. She later works as a custodian at Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Airforce Base for 20 years and later dedicated 20 years of service to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio before retiring.

She was a talented seamstress who lovingly created and repaired items for family and friends. She also had a special love for gardening and caring for her plants. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and listening to their stories.

Juanita is reunited in heaven with her husband, Fernando Gonzales; son, Robert Gonzales; and parents, Pedro and Felicita Zamora.

She will be loved and missed by her children, Lydia Gonzales Galvan, Ernest Gonzales, and Fernando Gonzales; 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
