Juanito Montesdeoca was born on the Westside of San Antonio on June 24, 1946. He was called home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2020 at the age of 73. Juanito passed away peacefully and was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. Juanito was self-employed as a truck driver. He was a very skilled mechanic and worked at Richard's Auto shop where he was known as "El guapo from Pinn Rd." He loved his motorcycle and fixing up classic cars. He was known for many trades; but was truly known as a servant. Even though he struggled with his faith, he never stopped praying. He had a heart for anyone that needed help. Some of his favorite foods were green enchiladas, tamales, menudo, fidello and homemade beans. Juanito loved listening to corridos and oldies while taking a drive. He loved family gatherings, especially Thanksgiving.
He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Juanito loved his family dearly, and his day was not complete until he knew his grandchildren were happy.
He is preceded in death by his father Gregorio Montesdeoca, mother Jesusa Montoya Montesdeoca; brothers Gregorio Montesdeoca Jr., and Ramon Montesdeoca.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 15 years Juanita Belem Montesdeoca; sons Juan Montesdeoca Jr., Bobby Montesdeoca and wife Ruth, Richard Montesdeoca, Jimmy Montesdeoca. Daughter Jeana Montesdeoca; 29 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers Anastacio Montesdeoca Sr., Rosendo Montesdeoca and wife Norma Linda; Sister Teresa Gutierrez and husband Andres G. Gutierrez; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins; extended family and friends.
