Julia Muñoz, 98, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 15, 2021. She was born in Houston, Texas, on June 22, 1923, to Luis Hernandez and Antonia Alvarado.

Julia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the one we would all go to for advice. She was the cornerstone of our family. Julia was the one that held us all together. She enjoyed being around her family and sharing in all our joy.

Julia was reunited in heaven with her parents, Luis and Antonia Hernandez; husband, Andres Hernandez; sons, Alfonso Muñoz and Victor Muñoz; and niece, Marissa Muñoz.

Julia is survived by her three daughters, Georgina Muñoz, Virginia Muñoz (Maximino) and Martha Muñoz; grandchildren, Felicia Rodriguez (Chris), Veronica Sanchez, Santiago Briones, Julia Martinez (Joey), Max Martinez, Maryann Rodriguez and Victor Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Alexis Marie Eden, Adalynn Rodriguez, Jake Ryan Rodriguez, Victoria Marie Rodriguez, Vivian Nicole Rodriguez, Alfonso Galvan Munoz, Asher Alan Anderson and Ares Martinez; and numerous family and friends. She will be greatly missed. We will forever hold her in our hearts.
