It is with profound sadness, that our family announces the passing of Julian C. Casares, who entered into eternal rest on September 14, 2026, at the age of 88.

Julian was born on February 16, 1938, and lived a life defined by love, faith, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. His life was filled with countless blessings and cherished memories that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him

In his twenties, Julian met the love of his life, Carolina R. Casares. Julian saw Carolina outside of his workplace and it was love at first sight. Their love blossomed into a lifelong partnership built on faith, commitment, and unconditional love. Together they shared 50 years of marriage.

Julian was a devoted husband, loving father, treasured grandfather, caring brother, beloved brother-in-law, and trusted uncle . He was a man of deeply rooted in his faith and a cherished member of Our Lady Good Council Church. His relationship with God guided every aspect of his life, and he lived each day with kindness and humility.

Julian was also a dedicated and hardworking man who proudly devoted 30 years of his life to Campbell Lumber Company. His commitment, loyalty, and strong work ethic were a testament to the kind of man he was, and his years of service became an important part of the legacy he leaves behind

Julian was a fan of western movies and an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He found joy in gardening. His talent could be seen and appreciated by anyone who visited his home. In addition. Julian loved fishing, days on the river and Barbequing with his family.

Julian Casares is lovingly survived by his daughter, Sylvia C. Solano, and her husband Ted Solano. He is also survived by his son Julian R. Casares, and his wife Letty Casares. He is further survived by his son Jose Luis Casares. He is survived by his daughter Juanita C. Ceballos, and her husband Jose Antonio Ceballos Jr. He is further survived by his eight grandchildren: Theodore Solano, Nathan Solano, Eric Solano, Audreyana Quezada, Lucinda Casares, Juliana Casares, Sabrina Casares, and Marissa J. Ceballos. Finally, he is survived by his fifteen great-grandchildren who treasure him dearly.

Julian is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Casares; his father, Cipriano Casares; his loving wife, Carolina R. Casares; and his son, Jesse R. Casares.

Though our hearts ache with the loss of his physical presence, we find comfort in knowing that he has been welcomed into the loving arms of our Lord. While there will forever be a missing piece in our hearts, we rejoice in the assurance that Julian is now at peace.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. at the Castillo Mission Funeral Home Chapel G2. A funeral procession will depart on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
