Julie H. Cornejo was called home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2021, at the age of 78. She was born August 2, 1942, in San Antonio Tx.

Julie worked for SAISD for many years in the school cafeteria. It gave her great joy to see the children come through the lunch line. She would always carry plenty of change to buy their dessert when they could not buy it themselves.

She and her husband enjoyed going to fishing in Rockport, Tx.

Julie is now reunited in heaven with her husband, Gilbert T. Cornejo, parents: Guillermo (Willie) and Rosa M. Hernandez, sister; Lucy Gonzales, brothers; Larry M. Hernandez and Joe M. Hernandez

She was very loved and will be greatly missed by her daughter; Gina H. Garcia, son-in-law, Rudy Garcia Jr., brothers; William Hernandez Jr., (Minnie), Paul M. Hernandez, sisters; Alice Valdez (Jesse), Tillie Castillo (Tomas) Janie H. Bravo, Maria S. Hernandez, Rosie H. Lopez (Lupe), and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces (Punkie), and great nephews.
