Julia (Julie) Costilla Martinez was born March 20, 1967 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Ralph and Rosa Costilla. She was a joyful and happy soul. She worked for SAISD as a bus driver for disabled students that loved her. The rest of her career was in customer service, Chase Bank being her last employer where she retired due to her heart condition.

Julia enjoy traveling and fell in love with the mountains in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. She loved all the wild life that we saw and accompanied me to hunting and fishing trips. She enjoyed fishing and was happy even when she caught the smallest of fish.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph, and survived by her husband of 23 years Antonio Martinez Sr., her mother Rosa, brothers Ralph (wife Maryanne) Richard (wife Mellie) Roger (wife Margarita) sister Irene, various nieces and nephews, as well as her three stepchildren Tony Jr., Steve Sr., and Amber.

Wherever she went she was known by her beautiful laugh and dimples.

She will be sorely missed by her fur babies Bullit, Emily, Lucky and various cats.
