Kaila Denise Riojas, 18, was born in San Antonio Texas on August 18, 2004 to her parents Samantha Riche and Charles Riojas. Her unexpected passing occurred October 9, 2022 while attending Texas Tech University pursuing her dreams of becoming a nurse.

Kaila graduated from Travis high school while simultaneously earning her associates degree from San Antonio college- all before she turned the age of 18. She received scholarship to attend Texas Tech University Entering as a junior in a accelerated nursing program.

Prior to passing, kaila was actively working on her CNA license where she was fulfilling her dream of helping others. Although, her time there was short, she impacted many.

Kaila is the greatest gift our family has ever received. She blessed us as a shy, gentle child. Who grew up to become a beautiful woman. When she smiled, her dimples would light up any room. She was an overachiever who excelled in everything she set her mind to. There is no limit to what she was going to accomplish. Kaila will be greatly missed but our love will last forever.
