With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Katherine Susan Legler AKA Ruby Soto Estrada. A loving, devoted daughter, mother, and sister. Whom touched everyone heart.

Katherine was born Ruby S. Estrada to the parents Raymond G Estrada and Pauline Soto Estrada on August 10, 1960, in San Antonio, TX.  Katherine as a young child excelled in school and band. She was in the Edgewood Hight School Marching Band from 1975-1976 playing the flute. Katherine continued to serve Edgewood Independent School becoming a substitute teacher for several years. She will be greatly missed by her surviving husband Antonio Morales, Daughter Venus M. Legler, Son Christopher T. Legler and four Grandchildren Mariana, Bella Rain, Michael, and Lilly. She also be sorely missed by her surviving brothers Felipe, Billy, Larry, and Mark.  Katherine enjoyed cooking, decorating, shopping, reading and yard work. She never hesitated to help anyone. She will always be remembered for her bold and fiery personality. She loved the color red. She always willing to share her advice and wisdom. Visitation will be held at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on 520 N. General McMullen Drive San Antonio, TX 78228, on February 23, 2021, from 3:30pm-7:30pm. She will be buried at Fort Sam Houston on February 24, 2021, at 10:30am. This will be family only with invitation due to Covid-19.
