Kathy Moon Vidales, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 20, 2021, at the age of 67, born September 2, 1953, in San Antonio Texas.

She was the loving wife of Juan V. Vidales. They shared 41 glorious years of marriage.

Kathy was the daughter of James Moon and Geneva Moon. She attended McCollum High School, went on to receive her LVN in Nursing. Kathy retired after dedicating many years to nursing, she worked at University Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit.

She fostered deep devotion and sacrifice as a wife, mother/grandmother, sister, aunt and friend always expressing endless and unselfish love.  How much you gave in happiness to others will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Priscilla V. Thomas (Donald); grand-children, Adia Villarreal, Bryce Villarreal; brothers, Jerry Moon (Lorraine), James Jr. Moon, and Wayne Moon (Debra); various nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Juan J. Vidales; sisters, Eula Vae Moon and Janelle Hargrove ; brothers, Virgil Moon, Kenneth Moon, Arlis Moon, Bobby Moon, and parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home, 520 N. General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, TX 78228 from 3:30p.m. to 7: 30p.m-Rosary at 6p.m.

The funeral service, Wednesday, March 3, 2021 in the Chapel of Castillo Mission Funeral Home at 12 Noon. Departure from the funeral home: 12:30p.m. Graveside service at San Fernando Cemetery III, at 1:30p.m.
