Lance Edward
Kilby
April 10, 1966 – April 1, 2022
Lance Edward Kilby went to be with our Lord on April 1, 2022, at the age of 55.
He is survived by his wife Norma L. Kilby; sons, Justin Edward Kilby (Alexandra) and Joseph Edward Kilby (Natalie); a grand-daughter, Evelyn Rayne Kilby; two additional grandchildren on the way; parents, Harley Kilby and Delores Kilby; siblings, Raph Kilby, Raoul Kilby, and Darci Kilby Wells (Sean); a mother-in-law, Victoria H. Sanchez; in-law's, Martin Sanchez, Maria Schofell, Placido Sanchez, Jose Sanchez, Ricardo Sanchez, Mauricio Sanchez, and Juan Sanchez; in addition to extended family and friends.
Lance was born on April 10, 1966, in Waterloo, Iowa. He accomplished so many incredible things in life, but he was especially proud of his family. Lance and his wife Norma shared the greatest 29-year adventure and marriage together. He served proudly in the United States Army as a medic. He was employed at Ancira working as a dedicated service advisor. He enjoyed getting on a boat and deep sea fishing any chance he could. A huge football fan, dark green and gold will forever remind us of his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. Always ecstatic to be behind the grill his BBQ will be especially missed.
He inspired people around him to be better individuals. His capacity for generosity knew no bounds. He was also someone who would help anyone in need with support, encouragement, and guidance. Lance loved when the family got together and truly devoted his time to family. Those times will exist in our memories and will be cherished forever. We loved his caring ways, and he will be deeply missed.
There are no words that can express the feelings in our hearts. Thank you for your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your shared memories, comforting condolences and gestures of love are truly appreciated.
