Lejon Garcia, beloved husband, stepfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at the age of 58, surrounded by family and love.

Born on November 15th, 1966, in San Antonio, Tx, Lejon brought laughter, kindness, and steady warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether it was his knack for pranking others that made an ordinary day feel extraordinary, or the way his witty humorous comments always made you smile and laugh.

Friends and family will always remember Lejon's infectious laugh, endless curiosity, and generous heart. Holiday traditions of making tamales around the kitchen table and yelling at the Cowboys will remain treasured memories for those who loved him. Lejon was a caring and devout pet owner and cared for many dogs and cats throughout his life, giving them love and homes.

Lejon is survived by his wife, Rosemary, stepdaughter, Maya, and sister, Debra Ozuna (Paul),  his nieces, Erica, Stephanie and Kelsea and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will carry forward his spirit of compassion, humor, and gratitude for life's simple joys. Lejon was preceded in death by the late Jesse Garcia II and the late Consuelo Hernandez.  He was the youngest of three children, one preceded in death Jesse Garcia III.

A celebration of Lejon's life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Castillo Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm with memorial services to follow at 3:00 pm. Please wear Cowboys or Spurs attire in remembrance of Lejon's favorite teams. There will also be a memorial mass at St. Phillip's of Jesus on November 15, 2025 at 12:00 pm, followed by the burial of ashes at San Jose Burial Park.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in the memories that continue to bring smiles through tears, the sound of his voice, the warmth of his embrace, and the love that endures beyond measure.
