Leo Garza, Jr passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, June 16, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on June 5, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas.

Leo was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He enjoyed working as a truck driver but ensured that he was home every day for his family. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, and reading. He treasured the memories he created with his family especially his great-grandchildren.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Maria C. and Leonzo Garza, Sr; sons, Leo "Reddy" Garza, III and George R. Garza; aunt, Gloria C. Vasquez; cousin, Gloria F. Vasquez; brothers, Ernest Garza, Sr and Richard Garza, Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Garza Martinez (Damian); sons, Rodney R. Garza and Ruben Garza (Liz); grandchildren, Krystul (Jose), Clarissa, Marquiz, Damian, and Desiree; great-grandchildren, Jessiah, Eleazar, Itzel and Abby; sisters, Olga Alvarez, Yolanda Rivera, Velma Perez (Manuel), Alma Castillo (George), and Norma Cleasby, plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends who loved him deeply.

Leo left his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with many wonderful memories and will be missed tremendously.
