Leon Cristobal Cobbs passed away on December 18, 2021 surrounded by the warmth and love of his family.  He was 48 years old.

He was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois on September 4, 1973, and he was the son of the late Linn Cobbs of Eufaula, Alabama and Concepcion Corpus of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  He was the proud and loving father of Xavier Linn Cobbs.  In addition, he was big fan of Chicago House Music, the Chicago Bears, and the Chicago Bulls. He was a proud Chicagoan who never forgot his roots in the Little Village/La Villita neighborhood.  He was also known for his love of lions and music.

Leon is loved and will be dearly missed by his mother, Concepcion, his son, Xavier, his sisters, Connie Maria Cobbs Corpus and Debra Wright, his brother, Kenny Cobbs, his godfather, Jose Manuel Corpus and the Mena Corpus family, la familia Lozano Corpus, la familia Melendez Corpus, la familia Guevara Corpus, la familia Gomez Corpus, la familia Granja Corpus, la familia Romero Corpus, and his numerous dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
