Leonarda Chapa Castro, 72 born in San Antonio Tx was called home on June 01,2022. Leonarda also went by the name Nora. She was born on Jan. 10,1950. Nora had 9 children. She is preceded in death by father Telésforo; Mother Andrea Chapa; and husband Tony Guadalupe Castro; Children Andrea, Ramon, twin daughters, and daughter-in-law, Mary- wife of son Domingo. Nora is survived by sister Juanita; Sons Domingo and Miguel(Veronica); Daughters Veronica, Guadalupe(Jesse), and Monica(Edward); 30 grandchildren; 48 great- grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter. She was a die hard Cowboys fan. Nora referred to herself as  rich- because of her loving family. Nora's love was the root of her family.
Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 3:30pm until 8:00pm with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00pm. Family and friends will depart Castillo Funeral Home in procession on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 9:00am for a 10:00am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
