Leopoldo S. Montemayor, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2021.  He was 88.  Leo was a loving husband and father.  Leo was dedicated to family, while still in high school he began working for Sears Roebuck and Co.  After entering the Army, he still took care of his mother.  After his service he returned to Sears and dedicated 50 years of service to them.  Still being a provider for children at home he dedicated 8 years to Northside School District. He enjoyed retired life spending time with grandchildren and his siblings.  He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is reunited in heaven with his wife of 59 years Mavis P. Montemayor, his parents, Miguel and Elisa S. Montemayor, all of his brothers and sisters. Here on earth he will be missed by his children, Irene M. Cantu, Leopoldo Montemayor Jr,  Monica M. Deans (Larry),

Paul Montemayor (Yvonne) and Mark Montemayor.  As well as his 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.  He will also be missed by a number of nieces, nephews and God children.
