Leticia Villa
Mendoza
August 25, 1962 – June 20, 2024
Leticia Villa Mendoza passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024, surrounded by family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and creativity that touched everyone who knew her. She was born on August 25, 1962, in San Antonio to Ricardo Mendoza and Elena Valero. She was welcomed into heaven by her grandparents Edward and Angelina Villa and Luis and Enriqueta Mendoza; her stepfather Gilbert Valero; and sister Melinda Cazares. She is survived by her parents, brothers Richard and Michael Mendoza and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Leticia lived a life full of laughter, good food, art, learning, and most importantly, love. Known for her green thumb, Leticia had a natural talent for gardening. Her home was always filled with beautiful plants and flowers, a testament to her nurturing spirit. Everything she touched bloomed, including the people who were lucky enough to know her love. Her family was her greatest joy. She was always ready to go the extra mile for her loved ones. They say some people light up a room, but Leticia made the room. She brought joy and laughter to every gathering and was the glue that held us together. Our family has lost a guiding light, but the warmth of her spirit will continue to shine in the lives of those who knew her. May we not only live — but love — like Leticia, always unconditionally and deeply.
