The Lord called Lewis Ishmael Perez (aka Miley) home on December 8, 2020, at the age of 59 years old. He was surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, on November 7, 1961.

Lewis graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1981. Since the age of 9 years old he loved doing lawns and landscaping and then retired at the age of 55 years old. He also worked in other occupations throughout his life. He is loved and will be missed by his former spouse Alice P. Valencia of 15 years married and together 19 years. They shared two beautiful children together and three grandchildren. He treasured beautiful memories he created with his family throughout his life. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Lewis enjoyed many things in life like going to the casino to play the slot machines, traveling, home cooking, going to the movies, gardening, listening to music, playing instruments, and loved to dance. Most of all he loved entertaining his family and friends and grilling them some Bar-B-Que. Most precious to Lewis was his faith in God. One of his favorite scriptures was Psalms 91 and was a strong believer of prayer. He will be missed tremendously.

Grandparents, Ignacio G. Perez, Juanita V. Perez, Jose M. Guevara, Teresa Guevara; father, Ignacio V. Perez, also precede Lewis in death.

Lewis is loved and will be missed by his daughter, Allison Ashley Perez (Brandon); son, Steve Casanova (Destinee); grandson, Ryan James Flores; granddaughters; Savanna Marie Casanova and Danielle Everly Casanova; mother, Salome G. Saldaña; brother, Ignacio G. Perez (Nathalie); sister, Diana J. Perez; brother, Michael A. Perez; brother, Joshua Goff. Lewis is loved and will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Our family, Thanks You for the Love and Support.
