Linda Jean Carreon was born on December 2, 1947 in Salinas, California. She passed away peacefully on June 26, 2023 at the age of 75, and was reunited with her parents, Fred and Tasha Sanchez, as well as her beloved pets, Sadie, Missy, and TD.

Linda was loved, cherished, and will be deeply missed by her children: Michele Renee (Ernest) Carreon, Stephanie Ann Carreon, Michael Rene (Annette) Carreon, Darlene Carreon, Cecily Ann (Kale) Carreon, and Oreo; siblings: Sandy (Fernando) Rodriguez, Suzanne Wilke, Veronica Sanchez, and Fred Sanchez; 9 grandchildren, and countless other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Linda had a big heart and unconditional love for everyone in her life.

Linda was an avid reader for the majority of her life, but in her later years she loved watching Game Show Network, having a cup of coffee with French vanilla creamer in the mornings, a sweet tea and ice cream cone from McDonald's, and playing mahjong. She also loved spending quality time with her family. She will be forever remembered and missed.

Visitation will take place at Castillo Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 from 3:30 to 8:00 pm, with a rosary to take place at 6:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 10:00am for a mass.
