Lisa Marie Guevara was called home at the age of 39. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and was a proud graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School. Lisa loved spending time in the kitchen, baking and creating delicious meals for her family and friends. She was big hearted, vibrant, and radiated light. She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She had an unwavering love for dancing and karaoke. When possible, she loved volunteering her time helping the homeless. She had a great eye for fashion which resulted in a lot of shopping sprees. She was a devoted Mother, who offered support, wisdom, and love in abundance. Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and will be gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply.

She is survived by her Mother Zulema Guevara, Elena Mendez, Son Xavier Guevara, (Vanessa Lopez), Daughter Hailey Rangel, Stepson Aiden Muniz, Grandson Maverick Guevara (Papasito); Brother Joe John Guevara (Veronica); Niece Natalie Guevara; sisters Genesis Mendez Guevara, Alexis Mendez Guevara, Sarah Jane Guerrero, and Leslie S. Padilla. Lisa was preceded in death by her grandmother Raquel Hernandez, Uncles Martin and Raymond Hernandez, and Aunt Dolores H. Castillo. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
