In Loving Memory of Lucia Gonzalez

With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Lucia Gonzalez on May 28, 2026 at the extraordinary age of 91. Born on January 22, 1935 in San Antonio, Texas. Lucia's life was a remarkable journey filled with faith, unconditional love and devotion to her family.

Lucia will forever be remembered for her warm smile, gentle spirit and the kindness she extended to everyone. She had a way of making people feel loved, welcomed and valued. Her generous heart and quiet strength touched generations.

She found joy in life's simple blessings and creating cherished memories with the people she loved most. Above all, her greatest pride and happiness came from her family. She was the heart of many gatherings and a constant reminder of the importance of love, faith and togetherness.

She is survived by her son Juan Gonzalez,Jr., daughter Rosa Maria Noriega and daughter-in-law Antoniette Reyna. Along with her grandchildren Jose Raul Noriega, Javier Jose Noriega, John Joseph Noriega, Jessica Rose Amparan (Jesua Amparan), Christopher Gonzalez, Sylvia Gonzalez and De Ann Gonzalez. Along with her great grand children and extended family who will carry her legacy through the values, love and memories she leaves behind.

She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Gonzalez Sr., son Hector Gonzalez, sisters Ester Garcia and Consuelo Coronado.

While the pain of her absence is profound, the family finds comfort in celebrating the incredible blessings of sharing 91 years with a woman whose life was defined by love, sacrifice and unwavering devotion to those around her. Her stories, laughter, wisdom and gentle presence will continue to love on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Though she may no longer walk beside us, her live remains everlasting. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished and lovely remembered until we meet again.
