Obituary

Born on June 2, 1921, in San Antonio, Lucille (Lou) Dyess will be remembered for a long life of dedicated commitment to family, her Holy Rosary family, and community. Her passions were St.Vincent de Paul and begonias: helping people, teaching, growing and sharing plants.Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, Lucille passed away Feb.26, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Dyess Sr., son Al Dyess Jr. and brother Philip Francesco.

Lucille is survived by her brother Charles Francesco, daughters Kathleen, Jacqueline and husband Perry, grandchildren Jennifer, Marissa, Jessica, Morgan, Jamie, and Sydney, great-grandchildren Aiden, Ashton, and Nicholas.


Services will be held Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 159 Camino Santa Maria as follows:
Rosary 9am
Mass 10am followed by burial at San Fernando #2
Reception following at Meyer Hall, Holy Rosary


In lieu of flowers, family requests instead that donations be made to Holy Rosary St. Vincent de Paul.
