Luis A Donato Age 75 of San Antonio, passed away peacefully 06/08/2025. He was born 08/11/1949 in San Antonio. He is preceded by death by his parents: Eulalio and Maria Donato. Siblings Eulalio Donato Jr and Moses Donato ,Oralia Donato Fuentes and Joann Donato. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years- Hermelinda Donato. Sisters: Carmen D Galvan (Baldamar) Juanita Donato (Jose) Gregoria D Pena (Richard) Mary Esther Luna (Robert) Anita D Depriest (Thomas) brother: Victor Donato (Cynthia). Numerous of nieces and nephews.
Luis was the oldest of 11 brothers and sisters.  He was caring, giving to all those that crossed his path.  He was a 1971 graduate of Burbank HS. He became wheelchair bound for 38 years and at age of 38. He always made himself useful. His hobby was to fix lawnmowers.
The last 5 years during covid, he was more homebound and was in/out of the hospital. But even then he did not give up. He fought the good fight and that is a reminder of his strength and courage.  Luis favorite verse was: Psalms 23. He will greatly be missed by many. Especially his dog Pinto he called him (Pinto Bean) last but not least his wife. They were inseparable, she was there 24/7 for him. If you've heard the phrase till death do us part. It's Luis and Hermelinda. Till we meet again, brother.
