Luis S.
Flores
August 11, 1949 – February 18, 2021
Our beloved husband, father, and grandpa, Luis S. Flores was born August 11, 1949 in Clare, Michigan. Luis passed away suddenly at 71 years old. Like a shooting star, when the gates of Heaven opened and the Angels welcomed him home, with the Lord and Savior on February 18, 2021.
He is preceded death by his parents Pablo and Marcella Flores, brother Paul Flores Jr., and his beloved sons Luis C. Flores Jr., Paul Arthur Flores(Paulie), and his niece Margaret Flores.
Luis is survived by his loving wife of 55 years marriage, Clara C. Flores, son Joseph Richard Flores(Lorena Garcia), daughter Adrienne Clair Villarreal(Ezequiel Villarreal Jr.), daughter in law Sylvia Flores and sister in law Petra Flores. He is also survived by his precious grandchildren: Luis Anthony Flores, Krissy Jasmine Flores, Justin Nicholis Flores, Renesmy Jade Flores, Jeffrey Alexander Flores(Samantha Flores), Ric Paul Jameson G. Flores, Ezequiel Legend Villarreal, and Austin Colt Villarreal. His mother in law Eloisa V. Celestino, Uncle Jose Samaniego and numerous beloved relatives.
As a family man, early in his career Luis and his family traveled often to do seasonal work. When Luis and family settled and made their home in San Antonio he continued to be a truck driver for over 40 years. He was a contractor and self employed, which he loved. Luis was a family man. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He loved having his grandchildren close to him and seeing them as often as he could. He will forever be missed as we cherish all of those wonderful memories, special music(Lago Azul), and his wit. He leaves us with a huge void in our family and hearts. We will remember the horrific cold, snow, and unexpected circumstances that caused his passing.
Until we meet again, my special loving Husband, Father, and Grandpa. We know you are in heaven now watching over and protecting us. You will forever be in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers. On behalf of the Flores family we would like to extend our thanks and gratitude for all of the love, support, prayers and kind words during this difficult time. Thank you Jesus for our strength.
