Luis Alfredo Gallegos passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, at the Baptist Medical Center in San Antonio, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family. He was 59 years old. He was born in Nuevo Laredo (Tamaulipas), Mexico, on September 17, 1964.

Luis married Rosa Maria Gallegos on July 11, 1987, in Nuevo Laredo. He worked many years in construction, making him travel to Corpus Christi, Houston, Dallas, Victoria, Austin and other cities in central Texas. Most of the time he worked in San Antonio. Luis truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends and family; snacking, spending time with his nephews and nieces and especially being the humorous one in every conversation. He would always be the one to give advice to each person that talked to him. He was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs. Although his best interest at heart was watching men's soccer. Luis treasured the beautiful memories he created with his family and his pets throughout his 59 years on this earth. He will be missed tremendously.

Luis is also preceded by his father, Alfredo Gallegos, mother, Juana Mendez, and son, Ricardo Gallegos.

Luis is loved and will be missed by his wife Rosa Maria Gallegos, his son Luis Alfredo Gallegos Jr. , his daughters Gabriela Gallegos, Airam Gallegos and Keyla Gallegos; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunts, and lastly his furry pets, Lilo Gallegos, Kanye Gallegos, Bella Gallegos, Dory Gallegos, and Cujo Gallegos.
