Luis Morquecho was called home to our Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was born on July 3,1947 to Telesforo and Vicenta (Sanchez) Morquecho.

Luis had a strong work ethic and began working at a young age. His passion for vintage cars and hot rods led him to a career in the Auto Upholstery industry. He retired in 2014 with over 40 years of service in the field. After retirement, he spent several years as the loving caregiver to his wife Julie Morquecho.

He is preceded in death by his parents Telesforo and Vicenta Morquecho, his wife Julie Morquecho, and sister Mary Guerrero. He is survived by his son Jon Nicholas Sosa & wife Diana Sosa, daughter Patricia Montalvo & husband Joe Montalvo, daughter Melissa Perez, and his siblings Jesse Morquecho and Socorro Morquecho. Luis was known as "Po" to his 8 grandchildren; Joe Montalvo Jr., Jennifer Montalvo, Adam Galindo, Claudia Montalvo, Timothy Montalvo, Alex Galindo, Motley Aldape-Guzman, and True Aldape-Sosa. Numerous nieces and nephews will remember him as a kind-hearted and spirited man.

Friends and family whose lives have been touched by Luis are invited to celebrate his life. Visitation begins at 4:00 pm followed by a rosary at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 6, 20205 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 9:30 am for a mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 10:00am.  Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II on 746 Castroville Road.
