A beautiful, peaceful, creative soul our beloved "Tio Yoyo" Luis Angel "Yoyo" Perez Chavez, will forever remain with us in our hearts, mind and spirit.

Eight nieces and nephews; Nelly Gallardo Strey husband, Erich Strey; Nancy Gallardo Limon husband, Jason Limon; Hector Gallardo wife, Melissa Gallardo; Elizabeth Gallardo Fernandez; Rogelio Gallardo; Luis Miguel (Michael) Gallardo wife, Esmeralda Gallardo; Juan Octavio Mata Morfin wife, Laura Mata, Elisa Veronica Mata Aguilar husband, Fabian Aguilar, and twenty-one great nieces and nephews and a great many friends.
Many knew him as a tender soul and called him by his nickname "Yoyo", he was exceptionally intelligent with capable of great critical analytical thinking skills, was known as a human encyclopedia capable of recalling, discussing and educating on historical events of any timeline. He never forgot dates, time and made it a priority to call and celebrate loves ones birthdays. Luis Angel was born, raised and attended school in Monterrey, N.L.
He loved to read books and magazines, loved to watch all kinds of movies, loved family gatherings, and enjoyed drinking Coca-Cola and eating cake. He immensely admired and had great respect for all animals especially, eagles and wolfs.
Luis Angel was an outspoken advocate of Indigenous communities, proactively championed and participant in city marches serving just causes for human dignity, RAICES, Domenica's Unidas, woman's rights, trafficked victims, animal rights, environmental rights, Martin Luther King, Jr. march . He was passionate and considerate of all cultures, races, languages, creeds and loved God, Christ, Jesus, Allah, Buddha, OM, the Sun, Mother Earth, trees, Mountains, Oceans and daily honored the four directions.
