Beloved husband and father, Luis Villasenor, passed away suddenly on July 16, 2024, at the age of 73 years old.
Luis was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. Following graduation from Highlands High School in 1970, he made his way towards Detroit, MI where he would begin a career at Great Lakes Steel as a Millwright. In 1982, he and his high school sweetheart had their one and only son. Shortly afterwards in 1984, both got married and raised their family together. In 2003, after 33 years of service, Luis retired from Great Lakes Steel. In 2012, he and his wife returned to their native home of San Antonio, Tx.

Luis was devoted to his wife and family, especially his grandchildren. Sadly, he leaves behind his wife Yolanda of nearly 40 years; his son James; his daughter-in-law Jessica; grandchildren: Madison, Benjamin, Sofia, Lucia, Jack; sisters: Josie Cowan (Lenuel), Terri Villasenor (Renaud A. Martinez III), Briget Cruz (Omero, deceased); brothers: Philip (Darlene), Rudy (Cristina), many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

He will be sadly missed but the memories and love we have for him will stay alive throughout this lifetime and beyond. We love you always!
