In Loving Memory of Lupe Gonzales Gleason

Lupe Gonzales Gleason, born on August 13, 1933, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at the blessed age of 92.

She is reunited in heaven with her husband of 61 years, Alfred D. Gleason; her parents, Rafael and Rita Gonzales; and her siblings, Juan, Julia, Adolfo, Jose and Jesus Gonzales.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her sons, Alfred Gleason Jr. (Valerie Gleason) and Danny Gleason (Cassie Gleason); her great niece who she raised as a daughter, Yvonne Silva Flores (Elias Flores); her niece who she loved as a sister, Rachel Gonzales Silva; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

Lupe dedicated many years of her life as a talented seamstress and tailor. She found great joy in crafting, cooking, gardening, decorating and listening to mariachi music. Gifted with a remarkable memory, she was a phenomenal storyteller and family historian.

Her home was a place of warmth, laughter and unconditional love. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and celebrations, where everyone was welcomed with open arms and a delicious home-cooked meal. Her loving heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, kindness, strength and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
