Guadalupe G. Natal, known as Lupe, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2022. He was 90 years old. He was born in Lockhart, Texas on December 1, 1931 to Eusebio and Leonarda Natal.

Lupe worked for over 30 years for Handy Andy as a handyman. In 1982, he moved his family to Comfort, Texas to manage a property of 250+ acres. He remained in Comfort for 14 years before retiring in 1996.

Lupe was married to his wife, Josefina, for 53 loving years. They had five children, Arturo, Carlos, Raquel, Rosalinda, and Rebecca.

He had a great love for the outdoors and would spend countless hours sitting and thinking, looking around, reading his newspapers, cracking open pecans, and working on his post-retirement hobby, collecting cans. He also spent time in his garden which thrived with a variety of flowers, plants, and fruits. There wasn't a plant that couldn't be revived by his green thumb. Throughout his life, he was a hardworking family man and though he was a quiet, simple person, he also had an amazing sense of humor and a body shaking laugh with a twinkle in his eyes. His children can attest to the fact that if you walked away from the dinner table, he might relocate your plate of food and let you go on a little search to find it. When you returned, he would have a little smile on his lips.

He mentioned more than once that he would love to have the entire family living with him and throughout the years, he loved seeing his children and especially his grandchildren. Both brought him joy, laughter, and great memories which he returned ten fold.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eusebio Natal; his mother, Leonarda Gonzales Natal; brothers, Jose and Refugio Natal; and sisters, Florentina N. Munoz and Juanita N. Castilleja.

He is survived by his wife, Josefina Natal, children, Arturo Natal, Carlos Natal, Raquel Syma (Frank), Rosalinda Natal, and Rebecca Campbell (Dave); grandchildren, Robert Villanueva, Isabella Syma, Natalie Natal, Quen Syma, Evan Syma, Brody Campbell, and Caleb Campbell; siblings Feliza Natal, Francisca Salazar, and Carmen Rocha; and numerous extended family and friends.
