Obituary

Macaria D. Moreno passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 86. She was born January 16, 1936 in Charlotte, Texas to Jose and Tomasa Dillard. She was a long time resident of San Antonio, Texas. Macaria was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children Louis  D. Gloria Jr. (Sandra), Philip Gloria Burkhart (Roger), Mary Ann Villareal (Luis) and Ramiro Moreno Ir. She also leaves behind 2 brothers Samuel and Jose Dillard; and 5 sisters, Dominga Martinez, Mary Alice Garza, Eloisa Lopez, Lilly Dillard and Dora Velasquez. Macaria had numerous grandchildren and was especially close to her granddaughter Veronica Hartfield, great-grandchildren and great-great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Munoz, brother Chale Dillard and grandsons Michael A. Gloria Sr and Ernesto Gloria.
Visitation will take place on Thurdsay, September 29, 2022 from 3:30-8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm. On Friday, September 30, 2022 family and friends will depart from the funeral home at 10:00am for a graveside service at Chapel Hill Memorial Park at 11:00am.
