Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the matriarch of our family, Magdalena T. Murray on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the blessed age of 70. Magdalena was born February 1, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Juan Torres and Magdalena Flores. Magdalena loved listening to music and dancing to her favorite songs. She was a loving, generous, and compassionate woman. She helped wherever she could and made sure everyone felt loved. Magdalena kept the parties alive. There was hardly ever a time where her family and friends weren't laughing in her presence. She was the heart of the family and created memories for everyone to cherish. But above all Magdalena was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always made sure her children had what they needed and she adored her grandchildren and her son-in-laws who lovingly called her mom. Magdalena is reunited in heaven with her parents, her son Mark Anthony Murray and her two brothers.
She will be missed by her beloved husband of fifty-three years, Edward Q. Murray Jr. ,her five children, Ann Margaret Murray-Rocco (Keith), Darlene Murray-Borjas (Joe), Mary Jeanette Solis (Louis), Edward Murray III, and Ashley Nichole Vazquez (Luis), Nine Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.
