Obituary

Manuel De Luna DeLeon was called home to heaven on January 29, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born on September 14, 1936 in Torreon, Mex, and raised in Laredo, Mx. He is preceded in Death by his loving wife Paula Moreno De Luna; (mother) Josefina DeLeon; and (sister)Santa De Luna Cardenas. Manuel is survived by (brother) Antonio Renteria and (sisters) Timia R Rosell, Virgina R Vela. Manuel was a devoted Father of (son) Adrian M. De Luna (Daughters)Maria De Luna, Dora De Luna Villarreal and (son in-law) Pedro Villarreal; Loving Grandfather to Adrian De Luna Jr, Jessica De Luna, Paul Santos De Luna, Kassandra De Luna, Ashley S. De Luna, Manuel De Luna, Esmeralda Villarreal De Luna, Domenica De Luna Villarreal, Sergio De Luna, Damian De Luna and also many great- grandkids, nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Manuel played in the Minor Leagues baseball in Laredo Mx and Nuevo Laredo. He then moved to San Antonio to pursue a better life and started his Construction Company (De Luna Steel Tier),  which he ran for 40+years until he retired. Manuel was a very funny, loving, caring and outspoken person. He loved laughing and making jokes, he was a very generous man always ready to help people in need. He is going to be deeply missed.
