Marcos Sandoval Davila passed away peacefully on October 10th, 2024, surrounded by the warmth and love of his family at the age of 81. Marcos (Mike) was born on December 12, 1942, in San Antonio Texas. Mike was a man of many titles such as beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and proud veteran of the United States army. Before enlisting in the military, he was a graduate of Edgewood High School.

During his time in the United States Army, Mike served 6 consecutive years in Vietnam. Throughout his service to his country, Mike earned many accolades to include the prestigious Purple Heart (1), Bronze Star with valor and dedication in combat (3), and Silver Star for Gallantry in Combat (1).

After devoting a total of 21 years to his country Mike continued his civil service as an employee of the United States Postal Service for 23 years. It was there that Mike was known for his caring, kindness, and generosity. He left an impression on everyone he met whether he knew them or not.

Mike is survived by his loving wife Georgette and his children. Marcos, Joey (Dolores), Mark (Mercedes), Veronica (Jesus), Edward, Vanessa. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren who he loved and cherished. Nicolas, Madeline, Miranda, Megan, Lilliana, Juliana.

Mike's Legacy of service, generosity, and love will forever be remembered by those who had the honor of knowing him. His family finds comfort in knowing he is at peace and will be watching over them with the same devotion and love he showed throughout his life.

He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
