It is with great sadness, we announce that Marcos Sauceda, age 64, of San Antonio, TX, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 19, 2023. He is preceded in death by: parents, Maxsimo T Sauceda and Oliva Paniaqua Sauceda; brothers, Maxsimo Sauceda and Fernando Sauceda. He is survived by: Olivia Flores (spouse, Elder Julian Flores); Richard Sauceda; Gloria Dag (spouse, Dr. Edward Dag); Estella Arias (spouse, Ruben Arias), Mary Golden (spouse, Scott Golden); and many nieces and nephews.

He attended Sidney Lanier High School and left early to join the United States Navy, where he served two terms and traveled Europe. He had many friends, enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and watching both the Dallas Cowboys and the San Antonio Spurs. Known by all for his great sense of humor, he had a wonderful heart, enjoyed feeding the deer at his sister's house, and living life to the fullest.

Marcos was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all his friends and family.

Visitation/viewing will be held at Castillo Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 from 4-8pm with Rosary at 6pm. Visitation/Departure will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 with Interment at 11:30 am to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio, TX 78209.
